A Plugin extends the writing agent with a method, template, external service, or publishing workflow that fits the way you work.
Install only Plugins you trust. New Plugins start disabled so you can review their source and purpose before enabling them.
Install and enable
Open Settings - AI, find Plugins, choose Install, and select a Plugin file or folder. FlowWrite checks the package before installing it and rejects content it cannot recognize or validate.
Enable the Plugin with its switch. Disabling it stops its capabilities without deleting it.
Use it in writing
An enabled Plugin makes its capabilities available when they fit the task. You still review plans and proposed changes and can disable the Plugin at any time.
A publishing Plugin may help choose chapters and prepare fields for another platform. Prepared content stays in the publishing window for review and copying; it is not automatically submitted.
Update or remove
Check for updates manually or enable automatic checks. A valid update preserves the Plugin’s enabled state; if validation fails, FlowWrite keeps the current version.
Disable a Plugin when you no longer need it, or right-click it and choose Uninstall. You can install it again later.
Some Plugins may access local files or network services. Understand those permissions before enabling them.
