Agreement
These terms apply when you download, install, access, or use FlowWrite and its related website pages. By continuing to use the product, you agree to these terms and the accompanying Privacy Policy and subscription information.
The service
FlowWrite is a desktop app for long-form writing. It provides a local library, manuscript editing, parts and chapters, story references, import and export, statistics, and optional intelligent assistance. The website provides product, help, contact, and required service information; it does not host installers or take payments.
Local data and backups
Your work is normally stored on your device or in a library, synced folder, or external drive you choose. Make backups appropriate to the importance of your work. Exports and snapshots can help, but they are not a hosted backup service and do not replace your own independent backups.
Your content
You keep the rights you lawfully hold in your writing. Unless you export or share it, configure third-party sync, or authorize an AI or Agent feature that requires an outside service, FlowWrite does not claim the right to publish or transfer your manuscript. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you store, process, and publish is lawful and does not infringe another person's rights.
Subscriptions and purchases
Purchases, renewals, cancellations, purchase restoration, and refunds are managed through the Mac App Store and Apple IAP under Apple's rules. The website does not sell subscriptions directly. Plan names, periods, prices, trials, and current benefits are those shown in the App Store and app at the time of purchase.
AI and Agent features
Intelligent features may require your own model-provider API key and permission to use specific book context. You must follow the provider's terms and pay its charges. AI output may be inaccurate and is not factual, legal, medical, financial, or publishing advice. You remain responsible for reviewing and using it.
Acceptable use
You may not use FlowWrite for unlawful, infringing, abusive, fraudulent, privacy-invasive, or security-damaging activity. You may not maliciously break access controls, bypass subscription checks, distribute unauthorized modified versions, or use the product in a way that harms users, the service, or third parties.
Third-party services
Apple, model providers, sync services, website analytics, diagnostics, and logging may be provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. The Privacy Policy describes the active categories, purposes, and data boundaries.
Changes and limitations
Features, pages, plans, and service descriptions may change as the product, platform rules, and legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be communicated through suitable website, app, or App Store notices.
To the extent permitted by law, Beijing Wangyan Technology Studio is not responsible beyond legally required limits for losses caused by user error, device failure, system permissions, third-party sync or model services, network failure, or events beyond reasonable control. We do not guarantee a writing outcome, AI result, publication decision, commercial return, or third-party platform approval.
