Your writing
Manuscripts, references, and media are stored in your local library by default. With iCloud Drive, your chosen sync service handles file synchronization.
AI and extensions
AI sends your prompt, relevant passages, and images to the selected model service. Custom model keys are encrypted on your device. Extensions using external services may also send task content.
Diagnostics
Manage Usage data and crash reporting in Settings → Application → Privacy. Diagnostics include versions, device environment, feature usage, and errors to help identify faults. Default diagnostics exclude manuscripts and model keys.
Turning diagnostics off keeps core writing available. Sign-in, purchases, and official AI still process information needed for those services.
